This is the younger sibling to the more popular Jefferson's Reserve version, which is aged anywhere from 12 to 17 years. This 8-year model, however, is not to be passed over. With its velvety legs and sweet brown sugar, caramel, and vanilla tones, Jefferson's is a wonderful bourbon. The bourbon came with a card which bore an advisory: "No mixers please! Drink neat, on the rocks, or perhaps with a splash of water." There isn't someone alive that could formulate a reasonable argument against that.
