Gently swirl the bourbon in your glass around, watching the syrupy goodness coating the sides.
Just above the bourbon, keep your mouth slightly ajar and take in the aroma of the whiskey through your mouth.
Take a small sip.
I repeat ... a SMALL sip.
While swishing it around in your mouth, inhale just a bit of air past the bourbon.
While puckering and unpuckering your lips, swallow the bourbon. If done correctly, it may appear that you are kissing the air in front of you.
